Warranty Transfer

Mechanical breakdown warranties, from Auto Warranty Direct, are transferable at the company's discretion on the direct sale of the vehicle to a new owner, providing there are no pending claims on the vehicle.

To effect a warranty transfer, the policy booklet with the transfer section filled in correctly and a fee of £25 must be sent by Recorded Delivery to Auto Warranty Direct within seven days of the date of sale of the vehicle. No transfer request can be dealt with after this period and the policy will not be transferable on any subsequent change of ownership. (Proof that the service schedule has been complied with must also be provided - photocopies will suffice).
