  • If at any time you feel you have a fault which is covered by this warranty, you should simply contact Auto Warranty Direct, at the address above or by freephone 0800 196 6151, during office hours.

  • An inspection of the vehicle will be made immediately and provided the defects are covered by the warranty they will be rectified at the first opportunity within our own repair centre.
 

Outside A 30 Mile Radius Of Our Repair Centre

 
  • Take your vehicle to any VAT registered garage and obtain an estimate. The repairing garage must then telephone Auto Warranty Direct quoting the Warranty document number and exact cause of failure.

  • The client must authorise the dismantling of any components for inspection. If the claim is accepted Auto Warranty Direct will reimburse the client with the cost of dismantling as part of the total claim. It is important to note that should there be no liability on Auto Warranty Direct after the dismantling, the client must bear the costs of such. Only the components specifically listed will be covered by this warranty and labour costs will be allowed in accordance with the I.C.M.E. standard repair times. Diagnosis will be the responsibilty of the client.

  • Auto Warranty Direct reserve the right to inspect the subject vehicle prior to commencement of any repairs if they feel it necessary.

  • If the claim is accepted by Auto Warranty Direct they will authorise the repairs at an agreed cost and issue an Authority number.

  • On completion of the repairs, Auto Warranty Direct will settle the invoice, directly with the repairers where possible. If this is not possible, an original, fully detailed invoice and any proof of servicing requested should be sent to our Claims Department at the address on the back page. You should include to whom the payment is to be made and quote the Authority Number. Our aim is to make all settlements within 7 working days of presentation of the invoice.
 


If any claim is in any way fraudalent or if you or anyone acting on your behalf or with your consent, has used any fraudalent means, including or exaggerating the claim or submitting forged or falsified documents, all benefit under this Warranty will be forfeited and the Warranty cancelled without recourse.
